The Flux COMBIFLUX Barrel Pump is designed for transferring smaller quantities of light fluids including acids, chemicals and oil up to 250 CP from drums and IBCs. The benefit over the JUNIORFLUX is that this chemical transfer pump has a quick-release motor, which allows the motor to be easily swapped between multiple pumps. As a Flux pumps supplier, we, therefore, recommend this solution for reducing the cost of purchasing several motors whilst preventing cross-contamination of fluids by using the same pump for all. The Flux FP314 barrel pump also benefits from an intelligent cooling concept of the motor with double-walled housing that provides air circulation and protects against aggressive vapours' penetration.
Suitable for pumping out of narrow-necked containers, this chemical drum pump is perfect for barrels and IBCs with narrow openings which are usually difficult to access. The FP314 electric drum pump for chemicals is seal-less, meaning that fluids can be pumped that would otherwise damage a mechanical seal. The COMBIFLUX Flux pump can be easily operated with one hand and requires minimal force to change between drums due to its compact and lightweight design. There is no danger of the fluid being contaminated by shaft lubricants as the pumped fluid lubricates the shaft.
This Flux barrel pump is available with a DC motor, 18v lithium-ion battery, and main power motor, 110v or 230v. The battery model comes equipped with a fast high voltage charger that can be recharged within 30 minutes; once charged, the COMBIFLUX chemical barrel pump can empty 17 x 200l drums or 3 IBCs.

This Flux pump is a perfect portable chemical pump solution for transferring light fluids and chemicals from a drum or IBC.
- High-quality barrel pump – Flux pumps are well known German made barrel pumps that have been in the market for over 70 years.
- Quick-release motor – The COMBIFLUX benefits from a quick-action coupling between the motor and the pump allowing the motor to be easily used on multiple pumps. This reduces the cost of purchasing several motors and prevent cross-contamination of fluids by using the same pump for all.
- Intelligent cooling concept - The motor of this Flux pump has a double-walled housing ensuring air circulation and protects against aggressive vapours' penetration.
- Seal-less design – This electric barrel pump has no mechanical seal, allowing the fluid to flow through the pump bearings and preventing leakages and wear.
- Small outer diameter –This feature allows this chemical drum pump to be used for narrow-necked drums and IBCs.
- Low weight – This flux barrel pump can be easily used with one hand and move between drums or IBCs due to the light weighted and space-saving design.
- Powerful motor – The F314 comes either with a mains powered or battery power motor. The battery model can be easily and quickly recharged within 30 minutes, which minimise work interruption. Once charged, the chemical barrel pump can empty 17 x 200l drums or 3 IBCs
Due to the long – life PTFE bearings and the chemical resistant impellers, this chemical drum pump is suitable for various industrial applications. The Flux Brushless battery powered barrel pump is a versatile solution as it is available in different materials compatible with various fluids, making it a popular chemical transfer pump:
- Acids and alkalis
- Liquid fertilizers
- Cleaning solutions
- Water
- Concentrated nitric acid
- Sulphuric acid
- Acetic acid

FAQs
Put most simply, a barrel pump, is a pump connected to an immersion tube that sits within the drum with its motor located outside of the container. The pump draws up the fluid through its immersion tube and is then dispensed via a hose or pipe that is connected to its outlet.
If you have a 1000 litre IBC you will require a 1200mm tube, a 205 litre drum requires a 1000mm and if you have a smaller container 700mm and shorter tubes are available. For larger containers we can offer longer tube sets on specification
If your fluid is prone to crystallisation, then you can use the F310 or F430 models as the pump bearings are protected from wear.
The F425 model is capable of emptying 99.98% of a container's contents. This drum pump is generally selected when the liquid is particularly valuable to minimise waste.
The F426 model is capable of both mixing and pumping the liquid within the container, which is a lower cost solution when compared to a separate mixer and pump.
For liquids with a flashpoint below 50°C, we offer our Stainless Steel F400 models and Viscopower series with ATEX approved motors or Viscoflux Lite EX.
Our range includes both FDA and 3A approved hygienic models. When the viscosity is >1200cP we offer the sanitary Viscopower F570 and F580 models and the Viscoflux Mobile. If <1200cP we typically select the F427, or the F430 food grade version when pumping alcohols or foodstuff with solids.
If you are pumping one liquid or very similar liquids, you can use the F314 or F424 seal-less models, if you are pumping multiple diferent liquids or where cross contamination is not desirable use the F310 or F430 drum pumps.
To ensure you get the correct Flux spare parts, we need to identify the exact Flux pump model you have. Please provide the model and serial number found on the pump name plate.
Castle Pumps can supply all Flux pump parts detailed on the spare parts list including motor, o-ring, shaft seal, impeller, inner and outer tube worldwide.
If you are pumping one liquid or very similar liquids, you can use the F314 or F424 seal-less models provided that the materials are compatible, if you are pumping multiple diferent liquids or where cross contamination is not desirable use the F310 or F430 drum pumps.
The general rule of thumb is that for low-medium duty applications where viscosity is <250cP the F300 is sufficient. For heavy duty applications, flammable liquids and viscosities of <1200cP choose the F400. For shear sensitive fluids or viscosities that exceed 1200cP then the Viscpower is required. Upon disclosure of your application, we can confirm the best solution.
All Flux barrel and IBC pump models are available with additional accessories that we can supply as a kit should you need delivery hose, a trigger nozzle, valves, flow meter and any other fittings.
