Wastewater pumps are specifically designed to be able to cope with some degree of solids depending upon what may be present in the application at hand. Our high-quality wastewater pumps are typically used for a wide variety of dirty or non-fresh water applications, including dewatering, lime water, raw water drainage, and storm and flood water. Our offering includes centrifugal or submersible pump designs, chosen for their high flow capabilities and ability to deal with a small amount of particles, as well as peristaltic pumps and industrial AODD pumps used for more extreme wastewater transfer applications such as the handling of sewage.

Castle Pumps also commonly specify wastewater sludge pumps for removing the sludge sitting at the bottom of settlement tanks that has been removed as part of the wastewater treatment process.
