Enquiry

An offshore wind turbine installer contacted us with an enquiry for a mobile barrel pump to transfer medium viscosity grease from 25 litre pails. This grease pump would be used on board a ship and therefore the materials needed to be resistant to corrosion.

Solution

To meet the customer requirements, we supplied a progressive cavity electric drum pump that could handle medium viscosity fluids. To ensure that the grease pump would not corrode in a marine environment, the pump was specified to come with a stainless steel tube set. We supplied the complete package including barrel pump, motor, hose and connections. This ensured that the pump was ready to be used as soon as it arrived.

The Flux barrel pumps we supply are of the highest quality and extremely reliable. We had great confidence in selecting this pump as we know that pumps on board ship need to be robust and reliable to deal with the heavy duty demand.
