Pump Without Power With Our Manual Hand Pumps
Although you may wonder why you’d want to spend your time manually operating a pump when an electric pump could do it for you, sometimes a hand pump is the solution that makes most sense. We often supply manual hand pumps to customers looking for an emergency standby pump when operation is critical in loss of power scenarios for example to feed a generator, or for safety applications onboard a vessel. In other instances it is purely down to when the volume of fluid being transferred doesn’t warrant the cost of an electric pump to be invested in. Whether you're looking for a solution for water, fuel, oil, alcohol or chemicals, there is a model of manual hand pump in our quality, European manufactured range for your process. Contact our pump experts who will help select the right model today for your requirements.

FAQs
The flow rate of hand pumps are usually measured in litres per revolution or stroke. This of course means that the actual flow rate achieved depends upon how quick the user is able to operate it.
This depends upon the type of hand pump which are usually categorised into rotary, semi-rotary and piston. Whilst a rotary hand pump relies on the user turning the handle 360°, a semi-rotary is 180°C.
If you have a 1000 litre IBC you will require a 1200mm tube, a 205 litre drum requires a 1000mm and if you have a smaller container 700mm and shorter tubes are available. For larger containers we can offer longer tube sets on specification
Manual hand pumps are often required when power is unavailable, as back up pumps in emergency scenarios where there has been loss or power, or where the quantity being dispensed does not warrant an electric pump installation.
